Our Mission
The objective of the Rhode Island Tax Collectors' Association
(RITCA) is to obtain a better understanding of the responsibilities
and duties of collectors within this state through co-operation and
mutual assistance.
This association will aid in providing a forum to discuss subjects
relating to tax collection, and elevate the standards of collection
by promoting a study of legislation. This will strengthen our
understanding of the general tax laws and promote justice and equity
under the Constitution of the State of Rhode Island.
